NEW PATTERN
On August 7, the 2024 "Golden Lily Cup" 5th National Wheelchair Marathon for the Disabled came to a successful conclusion in the Home Town of Nankang District, Ganzhou City.
A total of 42 teams from 30 provinces and municipalities across the country participated in this competition, with more than 300 contestants. In addition: more than 400 staff, volunteers, runners, cheerleaders and other participants in the event. It is the largest wheelchair marathon for the disabled in history.
This event is guided by the China Disabled Persons' Federation. It is hosted by the China Disabled Persons' Sports Administration Center and the China Disabled Persons' Association, supported by the Jiangxi Disabled Persons' Federation, the Ganzhou Municipal People's Government, and the Ganzhou Nankang District People's Government, and hosted by the Jiangxi Disabled Persons' Association, the Jiangxi Disabled Persons' Cultural and Sports Center, the Ganzhou Disabled Persons' Federation, and the Ganzhou Municipal Sports Bureau.
This event has built a stage for self-improvement and exercise and fitness for the disabled groups across the country, and encouraged the majority of disabled people to actively participate in sports activities.
